This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may apply across our services.
General Terms
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds are processed based on the rules set by the airlines, hotels, embassies, and service partners involved in your booking. Airxplor acts as an intermediary and will help guide you through the process where refunds are permitted.
- Processing Fees: All international flights eligible refunds are subject to a ₦20,000 processing fee or an equivalent amount in USD, depending on the service type and payment currency.
Flight Bookings
- Refundable Tickets: If your ticket is marked “refundable,” you may receive a partial or full refund after airline deductions and our processing fee.
- Non-Refundable Tickets: These cannot be refunded, but we can help you explore flight change options or credit vouchers if allowed by the airline.
- Missed Flights / No-Shows: No refund is issued for missed flights or no-shows, except where explicitly allowed by the airline.
- Cancellations Within 24 Hours (If Applicable): Some airlines allow a full refund if canceled within 24 hours. We will help you confirm eligibility.
Hotel Reservations
- Refunds depend on the hotel’s cancellation policy.
- Non-refundable bookings cannot be reversed.
- Refundable bookings will be processed minus any hotel/admin deductions.
Visa Services
- Visa processing fees are non-refundable once application has been submitted to the embassy or visa center.
- If canceled before submission, partial refunds may be considered after deducting service charges.
Packages (Honeymoon, Study, Group, etc.)
- Custom travel packages involve multiple vendors.
- Refunds may be issued based on how far along the process is e.g., if tickets or hotel stays have been confirmed.
- We’ll always provide a clear breakdown if only part of the package is refundable.
Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds are processed within 15-21 business days, depending on bank/partner timelines.
- We’ll keep you updated every step of the way.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
- No-shows for travel or appointments
- Incorrect traveler information (e.g., name, passport errors) not flagged in time
- Visas denied due to applicant error
- Force majeure (e.g., strikes, natural disasters) unless provider offers coverage
- Service fees for consultation or advisory
